Part-Time/Seasonal Production and Fulfillment Assistants

Kansas City Box is a gift studio located in Lenexa, KS - we curate gifts featuring small and local makers. This includes operating our e-commerce platform with single and ready to ship gifts, bridal gifting, and larger scale corporate gifting. We’re proud to have worked and gifted with companies such as Google, the Kansas City Chiefs, NFL, Hyatt, Major League Baseball, Sporting KC, Commerce Bank, YPO - Young Professional Organization, A-List Celebrity PR Gift Suites, Cisco, Squarespace, and more.

Do you enjoy working with your hands? Are you crafty or have a knack for design? This may be the job for you!

We’re searching for part-time and seasonal workers to assist the KC Box team with gift fulfillment tasks including but not limited to gift assembly, quality check, inventory management, and shipping fulfillment. Hours are very flexible to your schedule for options up to 30+ hours a week.

Extra Details:

  • Hours are flexible with standard shifts available Monday - Saturday 9am-6pm

  • Pick up and “as needed” shifts are available year round

  • Casual dress code! Yoga pants or comfortable clothes are permitted. Closed toe shoes are a must.

  • Pay starts at $15.00/per hour with opportunity for growth

  • Need to be able to lift 20+ pounds

  • Need to be able to work on your feet for an extended period of time.

  • On the job paid training

  • Room for growth, client facing roles, pop up shopping assistance are available with applicable experience. If you have experience in client facing roles, Canva, and/or social media management please include this with your emailed application for extended opportunities.

Schedule:

  • Up to 8 hour shifts available

  • Choose your own hours

  • Day & evening shifts available

  • Monday to Saturday

  • Weekends as needed

  • Seasonal employment lasts October - December 30th. We’re closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Schedule flexibility for employees who celebrate Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.

  • All shifts are on-site at our Lenexa, Kansas warehouse: 11429 Strang Line Road, Lenexa, KS 66215

Incentives:

  • Employees working more than 12 hours a week are applicable to receive 15%-25% off products.
