Leaving a Legacy with Midwest Transplant Network / Corporate Gifting for a Cause
April is National Donate Life Month, which honors those who have given the gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation, and the lives that have been saved and healed because of a donor’s generosity. At Kansas City Box, we’ve had the honor of providing thoughtful and intentional gift suites for the Midwest Transplant Network and its previous donor campaigns. The custom gift suites we provide are just one part of MWTN’s annual efforts to educate, inspire, and encourage the public to register to donate tissue and organs.
These gift suites in support of National Donate Life Month are sent out to Midwest Transplant Network supporters, whether they’re donors, recipients, or their families, to remind them of the impact of their donations and invite them to annual donor events. We’re unboxing two of our custom gift designs for previous donor campaigns from the Midwest Transplant Network.
Back in 2021, to coincide with the Garden Theme of the National Donate Life Campaign, we curated a gift filled with fresh and inspiring items. Each donor received a candle from Trapp Candle Co., an Air Plant or a Mini Succulent (with plant care instructions), seasonal plant seeds from local favorite, Shop Verdant, and a Midwest Transplant Network-branded bracelet and green ribbon pin. The gift suite was topped with a beautiful green ribbon, tying the MWTN brand colors into the final presentation.
The following year, in 2022, we leaned into the theme of “Forget Me Not” with a floral-forward custom gift design. Each gift included a candle from Trapp Candle Co. in Fresh Tuberose scent, a packet of Blue Forget-Me-Not seeds ready for planting in the garden, Forget-Me-Not scented Hand Cream from Library of Flowers, and a Midwest Transplant Network-branded bracelet and green ribbon pin. The navy blue tones pair so well with the brand-specific greens. Plus, we love how a theme comes together so well, as forget-me-not flowers remind us of the lasting legacy and memories donors leave behind.
