Happy MLB Opening Day! Custom Event Gifting with a Festive Baseball Theme
Baseball, we’re thrilled to see you again. To commemorate Opening Day, we’re highlighting these cool gift boxes (completed with Polarbox Coolers!) we created for Commerce Bank.
Commerce Bank approached us in need of a creative, hyper-custom gift suite to bring to their Baseball Fantasy Camp in collaboration with the Royals and Kauffman Stadium. It needed to align with the event's baseball partnership and provide a fun yet elevated gifting experience for recipients. We at Kansas City Box love our sports teams, and we’re happy to have any chance to highlight the Kansas City Royals in a custom gift suite. With a beautiful, cohesive color palette, locally made gifts and goodies, and a nostalgic trip to the ball game, this gift design was festive and functional for our gift recipients.
Our team dove into a nostalgic baseball theme, immediately putting ourselves in the world of stadium snacks, and pulling creative vessels into the mix so we could think outside the normal gift box. Each gift included a KC heart drink sweater, KC-themed leather coasters, and classic baseball-themed snacks like Cracker Jack, Big League Chew, and Sunflower Seeds from locally-owned Rufus Teague (of course, with a KC BBQ option), all packed into a forest green Polarbox Cooler. We also designed the Commerce Bank-branded baseball tickets in place of our gift insert, tying the whole baseball theme together with a brand-aligned green bow on top!
This gift suite was a home run, featuring a thoughtful curation of locally made gifts and universally loved snacks. We love seeing the joy of baseball shine through with nostalgic Cracker Jack and Big League Chew, and with beautifully crafted leather coasters shaped like baseball diamonds. With a nod to the amazing baseball community we have in KC, a portion of the proceeds of the KC Drink Sweater go back to the KC Negro League Baseball Museum.
